Bariatric Pre-Op Testing
The purpose of bariatric pre-op testing is to make sure your body can handle the stress of surgery. Bariatric surgery is major surgery and can be extremely hard on the body. In order to give you the best possible outcome, your team needs to be sure your body can handle the stress of anesthesia and the recovery. Some of the test you may receive are an echo-cardiogram, blood work, an EKG and/or a sleep study. You may also need to have additional testing. Check back here for information on testing, and let me know how it goes for you.
