We don’t want our emotions to derail our success. You’ll find posts about finding hobbies that bring you enjoyment and excitement. If you have active hobbies, like hiking, fishing or running, you’ll enjoy an even greater benefit as these help burn calories.
Using Hobbies to Manage Stress
We need to find hobbies that ignite a spark inside of us. Something that makes us want to get out of bed in the morning. Whether it be crafting, completing puzzles, dancing, singing, writing or drawing, find a hobby that makes you excited. Only then will the hobby be able to replace emotional eating for you. You want to try to find a variety of interests, so that you don’t get too bored. Don’t try to force yourself to do something you don’t like. This trick won’t work if you don’t like your hobby. Find joy and contentment in things you already love doing. For more information, check out the posts in this section.
