Since stress is often a trigger to emotional eating, we’ll explore ways you can handle your stress without food. We’ll look into things like hobbies to take your mind off food and stress. We’ll also deal with conflict resolution tips. You can expect posts about meditation and yoga too. We need to effectively manage our stress in order to be successful with weight loss surgery.
Stress management means that we take hold of whatever is stressing us out: finances, jobs, family, a mess home, etc… and deal with it like the boss you are. I understand that life gets in the way, and you’re always going to have stress. For this reason, we need to come up with strategies to manage our stress. Practicing yoga or meditating can help you deal with stress in your life. Working on your hobbies can replace stress eating.
