Welcome to the finances section of Stop Weighting, Start Doing! In this section, you’ll find tips on budgeting, debt, paying for bariatric surgery and saving money. It may seem odd to include a financial section on a bariatric surgery blog, but getting my finances under control was a big part of my journey. You see, I started in a financially-abusive marriage. It was nearly impossible to pay down debt and save money. Once I broke free from that bad relationship, I was able to finally take control of my money. I’m ready to show you all the tips and tricks I learned along the way.
Finances
I think it’s important to discuss finances because it’s also such a major source of stress for people. Since stress is one of the areas we need to control to be successful with bariatric surgery, it makes sense that we discuss it. I want to help eliminate or at least reduce stress in your life.
