Welcome to the bariatric food section of Stop Weighting, Start Doing! In this section, you’ll find tips for foods you can eat as a bariatric patient, learn how to properly fill your stomach and so much more! I post information how to meal prep, automate your meals and recipes of my favorite dishes! You’ll also find information on starting your liquid diet. I also have tips for getting through one of the most difficult parts of bariatric surgery – the Liver-Reducing Diet!
Food doesn’t have to be boring after bariatric surgery. In fact, as long as you’re concentrating on protein and avoiding empty calories, you can eat nearly anything you’d like. Your tool will help restrict the amount of calories you can consume. You won’t be eating a whole lot of any one thing. It’s a chance to be creative and try new foods. Your taste buds may change after surgery, so now is the time to explore a variety of different foods.
Within this section, you’ll find sub-topics including:
Healthy Recipes–My favorite bariatric recipes that are on a constant rotation in my meal prep are featured in this category.
Liquid Diet–You’ll find tips for drinking more water, making it through the liver-reducing diet, and information about the clear and full liquid diets.
Substitutions–Still want to eat your favorite foods? Me too! Finding the right bariatric substitutions will help so much!
Weekly Prep–In this category, you’ll find information about how to meal prep and put your meals in automation to set yourself up for success.
